Placenta Encapsulation

I've encapsulated over 350 placentas in the Baltimore area in the last 7 years- it is one of my absolute favorite things to do. I even named my cat Placenta! I believe this organ is incredibly wise and sacred and carries tremendous healing potential to the new dyad postpartum. I am trained in the Traditional Chinese Method of preparing and encapsulating placentas- steaming the placenta with ginger and dehydrating it before putting it into pills. I also am able to encapsulate via the raw method- not steaming the placenta with the intention of preserving as many minerals and energy as possible. Please do your own research and let me know which method you prefer.

The tradition of ingesting one's placenta postpartum winds its way back through many generations and cultures, and is mirrored in nature. Every mammal consumes its placenta immediately after birthing it. I believe the placenta holds benefits for the physical body (it's said to be a postpartum "prenatal" vitamin) and the spiritual body of the newly postpartum parent. I am grateful to have witnessed its power to restore health and vitality to numerous postpartum bodies. I encourage potential clients to do their own research. This is not a magic bullet, one-size-fits-all modality.

At this time I am encapsulating all placentas in my home, picking up and dropping off at client's homes directly. I ask my clients to commit to consciously communicating with me about their unique birth and postpartum needs. If you are interested in working together, please send me a message through the portal below. Please include your estimated date of delivery, address, and any lingering questions you may have.
